Dr. Donna Roth
Dr. Donna Roth is a native of Syracuse, New York where she attended the College of Environmental Science and Forestry, graduating with high honors in Biochemistry. She then worked in a biochemistry research laboratory for a year before attending medical school at S.U.N.Y- Upstate Medical University, where she attained membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, an honor medical society.
After graduating medical school in 1986, she completed an internship year in internal medicine, also at Upstate. Her three year dermatology residency at the University of Louisville was completed in 1990, and her certification as a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology was also in 1990.
Dr. Roth served as an assistant instructor for dermatology residents at the University of Louisville until 1998. She has been in the private practice of dermatology in Lexington since 1990. She has represented the Central Kentucky Dermatological Society as president in the past. She has authored a number of papers for major dermatology journals and is a member of national and local medical and dermatological societies.
Dr. Roth enjoys making people look and feel better as well as the challenges in individualizing treatments and procedures. She is married with two active sons who play soccer and piano, and love roller coasters.
